Each project is reviewed, and site-specific safety plans are established, assessing the potential hazards for each jobsite and work type applying not only all Federal, State and  local regulations, but also best industry practices. With our Health and Safety Program, we provide ample training for our employees to teach them of the duty and responsibility to themselves, their fellow workers, our clients and to the public. Working closely with our unions, we ensure that our employees receive the latest and most appropriate training for all our service segments. 

All our field personnel have OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach Certifications with Supervisory and Project Management staff have OSHA 30-Hour Certification. Additional certifications are available including OSHA HAZWOPR, NYS DOL Asbestos, US EPA Lead and numerous specialty certificates. Mark Cerrone, Inc. complies with all governmental regulatory authorities including OSHA, MSHA, FRA, FMCSA, US & NYS DOT, NYS DOL, and US EPA / NYS DEC. Our company also meets the challenges of working in security sensitive environments – performing background screening, license monitoring, and drug and alcohol testing to provide our clients with the safest, highest quality service possible. 

Managing a high-performance safety program has also allowed MCI to work for large industrial clients at their OSHA Star facilities. We work with plant safety personnel to make sure our work is performed safely and that their sites maintain their high safety standards and records.
