The project involved remediation services at various locations throughout the Royalton-Hartland (Roy-Hart) Central School District. The remedial activities included the excavation and offsite disposal of over 60,000-tons of arsenic-contaminated soil and debris. Removals included all surface areas that were above the site soil cleanup objective (SCO) of 20 parts per million (PPM).
Site restoration services included backfilling, installation of sidewalks and driveways, installation of concrete ramps, installation of sports fields including softball fields and bleachers, shot put pads and landing areas, sod installation, and the planting of various trees and shrubs.
In addition, Mark Cerrone, Inc. was responsible for providing a Community Air Monitoring Plan (CAMP) and Vibration Monitoring, survey and post-excavation/confirmation soil sampling and analysis. All lab analysis included a DUSR using Category B deliverables with EDD formatting that was uploaded to the DEC EQUIS database included as a project deliverable each year.
