Mark Cerrone, Inc. is the prime contractor on this 3.2 million dollar project on heavily traveled New York State Route 78 (Transit Road in Depew). This project consists of removing and replacing the roadway drainage structure system, removing an abandoned railroad bridge over Transit Road, along with milling and paving Transit road from Terrace Boulevard to George Urban Boulevard. MCI was responsible for removing the abandoned railroad bridge (BIN 7030220) in two separate phases under short term time restraints and MPT restrictions. The project is phased so that all roadwork can be installed while maintaining traffic on Transit Road. This project is scheduled for completion in September, 2018.
