Construction of new Intercity Passenger Rail Station and International Boarder Inspection Station for US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in addition to a passenger rail platform, a new passenger rail siding and rehabilitation of the railroad bridge over Whirlpool Street, roadbed reconstruction on Bath Avenue and Whirlpool Street, a parking lot for the station and miscellaneous site improvements. Work includes but not limited to hazardous material abatement, selective demolition, concrete masonry, metal work, exterior and interior carpentry and millwork, roofing, sheet metal, joint sealant, doors, windows, exterior and interior finishes, plumbing fixture, and piping, fire suppression, HVAC work, electrical work, communication and security systems, earth work, utilities, railroad infrastructure, railroad bridge rehabilitation, paving, landscaping, and storm drainage. Relocation of the Salt Storage Shed and Delayed Access.
