500 & 600 Block Main St. – & NFTA light rail system – Project Manager: Chris Gange
Mark Cerrone was hired by the City of Buffalo to bring vehicular transportation back to Main Street. While bringing back the roads we also installed a new track bed and rail for the NFTA’s trolley system. The greatest challenge with the Main Street project is that the trolley system was an active railway during construction. After completing the first 60 percent of the stretch, MCI won the bid to finalize the 500 & 600 block of Main Street, bringing the total project value to $21 million.
