Mark Cerrone Inc. is handling the asbestos abatement at the Buffalo Central Terminal as part of the terminal’s restoration efforts.
The asbestos abatement at the Buffalo Central Terminal is part of a larger effort to restore and repurpose this historic landmark. The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation (CTRC) is overseeing the project, which includes removing asbestos-containing materials to ensure the safety of workers and future visitors. This work is crucial for the ongoing rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of the terminal, which aims to transform it into a vibrant mixed-use campus with community-driven programming and activities.
The abatement process involves carefully removing and disposing of asbestos materials in accordance with safety regulations, followed by thorough cleaning and air quality testing to confirm the area is safe.
