In 2014, Mark Cerrone, Inc. embarked on the replacement of the Robert Moses Parkway in Niagara Falls, New York. This $24 million project aimed to transform the southern section of the parkway, now known as the Niagara Scenic Parkway. The work included extensive excavating, bridge removal, road construction, landscaping, and the installation of visitors’ paths and park lighting. The project focused on improving the line of sight along the edge of the Niagara River, which had been previously obscured by an overpass and parkway ramps. Mark Cerrone, Inc.’s efforts significantly enhanced the park’s accessibility and aesthetic appeal, providing a more enjoyable experience for visitors and contributing to the beautification of the area.
