Work includes construction of a new bituminous concrete pavement bus loop; new bituminous concrete pavement park and ride lot; a new Compact Transit Center (Bus Station) with real time message board and electronic community message board; installation of new heavy duty and light duty bituminous pavement, concrete curbs and sidewalks; installation of amenities and landscaping, new LED site lighting, new security camera monitoring system; removal of existing overhead sign bridge structure on Niagara Street; installation of new traffic signal system components, including pedestrian signals, pavement, markings, and signage on Niagara Street within the bus loop; installation of new storm drainage structures and piping, and installation of new utility services for building.
