Our management team, in cooperation with our employees and subcontractors, strives to create a culture of safety by not only meeting Federal, State and local standards but by exceeding them.

 Our three main objectives are to:

1. Provide the safest possible work environment.  This includes assessing the potential hazards for each jobsite and project type as well as providing a preventative maintenance program for all trucks and equipment.
2. Comply with all Federal, state and local safety and health regulations, code and rules while adopting best practice work rules whenever possible.
3. Provide adequate training for employees and to teach them of the duty and responsibility to themselves, their fellow workers, our clients and the public.  We work with our unions to ensure that our employees receive the latest and most appropriate training for all our service segments.

Our safety performance has earned us an exceptional EMR figure and a low OSHA incidence rate.  This allows us provide on-site construction services for a number of large industrial clients including working at a number of OSHA Star facilities.  We work with plant safety personnel to make sure our jobs are performed safely and their sites maintain their high standards.  In fact, we received recognition from DuPont for over 40,000 safe-hours on their NECCO Park project.

In addition to complying with OHSA, FMCSA, DOT and DOL regulations, Mark Cerrone, Inc. also meets the challenges of working in security sensitive environments performs background screening, license monitoring and drug and alcohol testing to provide our clients with the safest, high quality service possible.
